Andrew is a scout and writer with an extensive background in world history and international relations, receiving his undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in history. Since viewing his first soccer match at the 1994 World Cup, Andrew has followed as many leagues and international tournaments as possible, specializing in identifying talent from leagues and regions that are often overlooked and underappreciated. His first foray into scouting and covering soccer came in 2013 when he created the blog, https://africacup2013.wordpress.com/, which was dedicated to full-time coverage and analysis of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. Covering tournaments such as the Africa Cup of Nations made Andrew realize that there is footballing talent in all areas of the world waiting to be discovered and that the globalization of international soccer is bringing investment and development to footballing cultures beyond the traditional powerhouses.

Andrew provides an encyclopedic knowledge of the soccer world that spans from the leagues of Europe to regions such as Africa, Asia, North America, and South America. Completing the Soccer Management and Scouting course with Sports Management Worldwide has honed his ability to assess talent and analyze how players can fit into specific teams and systems. With a passion for the game and an eagerness to provide opportunities for players and clubs, Andrew’s scouting brings professional-quality attention to detail.
