Antonio Inverso moved from Italy to Canada to keep pursuing his dream and passion about soccer. He has obtained his Permanent Residence Status. He recently graduated with a certificate in Soccer Management & Scouting from Sport Management Worldwide.

When he first moved to Toronto, he took a post graduate certificate in Sport and Event Marketing from George Brown College. Previously to that, he graduated with a Masters in International Marketing at the European School of Economics in London, UK.

Recently, he was an Account Manager for Maple Leafs Sport Entertainment (MLSE), where he gained experience and knowledge in implementing marketing strategies and customizing new sales approaches. Before this, he was the Soccer Development Coordinator for Toronto FC. His role consisted in organizing soccer camps, ID Players Clinics (with Sebastian Giovinco, Michael Bradley, & Josie Altidore) and soccer activities in the community, such as Learn to Kick. Throughout his tenure, he also managed major soccer events at MLSE such as the TFCTim Hortons Coaches Open House and TFC-Kia Cup Tournament. His responsibilities in addition to day to day work involved translating for Sebastian Giovinco for both the 2015 & 2016 seasons, where, he facilitated the pre-game and post-game interviews and attended the MLS Marketing Day in Los Angeles, 2016.

Antonio also runs a family business with his cousin. The three major areas of the business are focusing on talent management-soccer events-sport apparel. During his soccer career, he has been assisting various sports entities managing and directing international soccer events in Italy and the Americas. Major events in Canada include the AC Milan summer soccer camps (Toronto, Oakville, Halifax, Vancouver, Thunder Bay and Rochester N.Y.) and the 2013 Italian Soccer try-out in Toronto, covered by Omni News TV. He would like to pursue a career in the sports business and in the international marketing field. He believes that his passion, motivation and desire to excel in this field will make him an asset for this industry.

- My sport background is soccer. I played soccer since I was a kid. I played for my home town team.
- At the age of 16 I was playing for the regional selected team. The coach was Angelo Alessio, actual Antonio Conte assistant coach
- The same year I was scouted and selected by the AC Milan Head Scout to join the Milan junior team but a further injury stopped my career
- Since then I was and I’m involved into soccer
