After Scott Walsh graduated from High School, he joined the United States Army and served as a Bradley Mechanic. Upon his Honorable Discharge, Scott enrolled in College at Suffolk County Community College, then transferred to Farmingdale State University where he studied Sports Management. While attending Farmingdale State College, Scott worked two jobs, with one being an Assistant Game Day Operations Manager for the New York Cosmos. There he ensured that the operations of each game were operated on time and efficiently. He graduated from Farmingdale and received a job as a Sales and Service Manager for Goldfish Swim School, where he worked tirelessly to increase revenue and enrollment. Scott implemented new procedures that helped increase enrollment from 1100 students to well over 2000 in a span of 6 months. He was then promoted to the Assistant General Manager where he oversaw the day-to-day operations and continued to support the sales and service team to continue growing the school’s enrollment and revenue.

While working at Goldfish Swim School, Scott attended St. John’s University to achieve his master’s degree in Sports Management and was able to do so with a 3.7 GPA. Scott worked long days and nights to ensure that he was able to be the best he can at both work and school. Soon after Scott graduated from St. John’s University, he moved to Los Angeles where he felt he would have the best opportunity to start his career in sports. Upon his arrival, he received a job as the Sales and Account Manager for Sports in Focus where he currently works. As the Sales and Account Manager, it is Scott’s duty to work diligently to contact youth sporting clubs and organizations to offer up their photography services. Scott enjoys challenge opportunities and knows that he can thrive in any situation with a strong work ethic and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.

Scott has been watching and analyzing football for over 15 years and writes up his own scouting reports and game analysis’s in his spare time. Scott has been working full time and attending school for the past six years and will continue to do so with his enrollment in the Sports Management Worldwide Football General Manager and Scouting course, and the Football Apprenticeship.
