Thomas Franklin Pruitt |
|
Thomas Pruitt is a former Baseball player of over 15 years, playing in summer recreational leagues, Fall Leagues and High School from age 5 to 18 years old, eventually playing for some time in American Legion Ball. As injuries began to slow Pruitt’s progress and development, he began to understand that playing at the next level was all but out of the question. Thomas shifted his focus to coaching and helping at youth camps in the fall. Thomas maintained his love for the game while focusing on his career and family life. Still helping as an assistant coach in the local Rec League, focusing on kids who had never played before. Having a positive influence on the game of baseball and helping others to explore what baseball has to offer is therapeutic and fulfilling for Pruitt. Though enjoyable, being involved at this capacity wasn’t what Thomas was looking for. He knew that becoming a scout was his goal but had no idea how to even get started. Now through SMWW’s courses and tutelage, and mentors from industry leaders such as Larry D’Amato (Former Area Scout, Scouting Supervisor, National Cross Checker, Pro Scout and Major League Scout for Several MLB Teams such as the Houston Astros) Dan Evans (Former GM of the Los Angeles Dodgers) Thomas has the tools and the insight to scout, accurately grade, and project future talent of Amateur Baseball Players. Thomas is centrally located in the Southeast just South of Birmingham Alabama, placing him in a perfect location to commute to nearby major cities. Not to mention the numerous athletes in his own backyard at schools such as Spain Park, Hoover High School, Vestavia Hills etc. What you get with Thomas Pruitt is a detail oriented, passionate, and organized professional that can fulfill your needs as a scout and will exceed your expectations as an exemplary worker. Please Consider Thomas for your scouting needs. |
